Bi-monthly brewing competition, open to all members of BARF. Each month, your beer entry will be judged against fellow BARF members entries. One entry allowed per member each event. Each competition gives you points that accumulate to a year end total. Points are as follows: 1 for entry, 1 for 3rd, 2 for 2nd, and 3 for 1st. All BARF members are welcome to participate or observe the judging. This is a great time to assist with educating the palate and studying for the BJCP exam, or just learn about beer and become a better home brewer!

Rules and Guidelines

1. Judging will be held the 1^st Thursday of the month, 7 pm at HomeBrewUSA.

2. Entries due by time of judging.

3. One (1) entry per person each event.

4. Two (2) 10-14 oz. or one (1) 22 oz. brown bottles per entry.

5. Each bottle requires a label to be attached; use BJCP label; can be found at: http://www.bjcp.org/compcenter.php

6. Entries will be judged per the 2008 BJCP Guidelines.

7. One (1) point given to each entry for submission.

8. 1^st Place 3 points; 2^nd Place 2 points; 3^rd Place 1 point.

9. Overall/End of the Year Winners for 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd places.
